Making a difference, block by block

Miguel has a long record of bringing people together to better DC: organizing monthly cleanups of Malcolm X Park, winning ranked-choice voting citywide, and rallying leaders across the District to demand ICE agents remove their masks.

As your Councilmember, Miguel will take on big issues — like affordability and safety — while just as energetically championing local constituent projects to keep our neighborhoods vibrant.

Every time DC’s autonomy has been threatened, Washingtonians have fought back by driving change from the bottom up. Whether it’s in the Wilson Building or on your block, Miguel will continue that proud tradition as Ward 1’s next Councilmember.
